Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Maximum mass loss = 35.6 ppm at 37 °C, pH 7 (ICP analysis);
Maximum mass loss = 58.1 ppm at 37 °C, pH 5.5 (ICP analysis);
Maximum mass loss = 148.4 ppm at 37 °C, pH 8.0 (ICP analysis)

Additional information

This analysis does not follow any of the recommended guidelines. Instead, the test item is digested for two hours at ca. 37 °C and the solubilized material is then quantitated by means of ICP. Three diferent digestion buffers were used (deionized water, pH 5.5 and pH 8).

The water solubility is given in terms of maximum mass loss of the test material. This magnitude represents the sum of all constituents mass losses measured by ICP and it is expressed in parts per million (ppm) of solubilized constituent.
