First-aid measures

Fire-fighting measures
Special protective equipment for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Unsuitable extinguishing media for safety reasons: water jet
Specific hazards: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrous gases
Further information: Collect contaminated extinguishing water separately, do not allow to reach sewage or effluent systems.
Accidental release measures
Avoid dust formation. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Prevent product from entering drains. Do not flush into
surface water or sanitary sewer system. Do not let product enter drains.
Methods for cleaning up: Never return spills in original containers for re-use. Soak up with oil absorbent material. Neutralize
corrosive material prior to cleaning. Sweep up or vacuum (if powder) or soak up with inert absorbent
material (if liquid), then place into a suitable clean, dry, closed container, and label for disposal.
Handling and storage
Protection against fire and explosion: The product is combustible. Prevent electrostatic charge - sources of ignition should be kept well clear - fire extinguishers should be kept handy.
Storage: Segregate from acids and acid forming substances.
Further information on storage conditions: Avoid extreme heat. Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.

Exposure controls / personal protection
multi-purpose combination (US) or type ABEK (EN 14387) respirator cartridges as a backup to engineering controls. If the respirator is the sole
means of protection, use a full-face supplied air respirator. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government
standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
Hand protection: Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer
surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory
practices. Wash and dry hands.
The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles. Faceshield (8-inch minimum). Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Skin and body protection: Complete suit protecting against chemicals, The type of protective equipment must be selected according
to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Hygiene measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid: Exposure to moisture. Heat, flames and sparks.
Materials to avoid: Iron, Oxidizing agents, Copper
Hazardous decomposition products: Hazardous decomposition products formed under fire conditions. - Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Disposal considerations
incinerator equipped with an afterburner and scrubber. Offer surplus and nonrecyclable solutions to a licensed disposal company.
Contaminated packaging: Dispose of as unused product.
