Description of key information

Data not required - in general ethanol is of low toxicity to living organisms. It's a simple aliphatic alcohol occurring everywhere in nature and most organisms are capable of metabolising it. Ethanol is fully miscible with water/will not bioaccumulate in soil (organic matter) or in living organisms. Furthermore ethanol is a VOC. Accordingly any spillage onto the soil will tend to evaporate into the air and be diluted by soil water.
