Description of key information

(R)-2,2,3-trimethylcyclopent-3-ene-1-acetaldehyde was determined to be non-sensitising/a weak sensitiser in two human sensitisation studies performed on 25-30 healthy adult volunteers

Additional information

Two human sensitisation studies performed with campholenic aldehyde demonstrated that the substance was, at the worst, a weak sensitiser. Both studies were performed using the maximization procedure and so both are considered to be key studies.
