One reliable study is available for the registered substance. The substance exhibits a 3h EC50 for STP microorganisms higher than 1000 mg/L.

The inhibitory effect of Phosphoric acid, mono- and bis(branched and linear pentyl) esters (AAP) on the respiration rate of aerobic wastewater microorganisms of activated sludge was investigated in a 3h respiration inhibition test according to OECD guideline for Testing of Chemicals, n°209 (2010) under GLP compliance.
No significant effects on microorganisms respiration was recorded after 3 hours exposure of the sludge to 1000 mg/L the registered mixture and therefore the following results were determinated:
3h EC50>1000 mg/L
3h NOEC = 1000 mg/L
These results were assessed to be suitable for chemical risk assessment purposes.
