Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed
Conclusions:
After correction of the mean biochemical oxygen demand of the inoculum contrals at the end of the 28-day exposure period degradation rates of
12 % and 16 % were found based on ThODNH4.
If the calculation of biodegradation is based on ThO~03, percentage bio degradation reached 10 % and 14 % after 28 days of incubation.
The percentage biodegradation did not exceed 60 % within the 10-day window. The test substance can therefore not considered to be ready
biodegradable.
