Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint summary
Administrative data
Description of key information
No data are available on the repeated-dose toxicity of hydrazine mono-nitrate. Data have been waived due to exposure based waiving considerations.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
Hydrazine mono-nitrate is manufactured in a controlled batch process. A reaction takes place inside a stainless steel reactor and the reagents from the reaction are controlled and fed through other vessels within the facility. The reactor itself is connected to a process fume scrubber. The scrubber itself is interlocked with all of the transfers therefore if the scrubber fails the transfer stops and the vessels are sealed. This gives us an entirely closed system whereby none of the reactants or gases/vapour from the reaction will ever come into contact with the operator during normal operation. Once the reaction has been completed the sample is taken from the designated sampling point whereby there is local exhaust extraction around that area to remove any future vapours. This is probably the highest potential for exposurebut operational conditions actions are in place to mitigate against worker exposure. When the product is tested and analysed and authorised for decanting this is done again by a closed batching system whereby the IBC is vented by the fume scrubber and the product is batched in by a batch meter.
Therefore, repeated dose studies are not required.
Justification for classification or non-classification
No data are available as endpoint waived due to exposure based waiving considerations.
Hydrazine mono-nitrate is classifiable as dangerous under the DSD (Directive 67/548/EEC), and CLP (Regulation 1272/2008) as per listing for 007-014-00-6 for Hydrazine Salts (group). Hydrazine Mono Nitrate is part of this group (CAS 13464-97-6). No classification exists for repeated dose endpoints.
