First-aid measures
General information:
First aider: Pay attention to self-protection!
When in doubt or if symptoms are observed, get medical advice.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person or a person with cramps.
Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings.
If unconscious place in recovery position and seek medical advice.
After inhalation:
Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest.
Call a doctor if you feel unwell.
If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration.
After contact with skin:
After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
Do not wash with: Solvents/Thinner
Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings.
In case of skin irritation, consult a physician.
After contact with eyes:
Seek medical advice immediately. In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
After ingestion:
Seek medical advice immediately.
Rinse mouth.
Put victim at rest, cover with a blanket and keep warm.
Do NOT induce vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray jet, alcohol resistant foam, extinguishing powder, carbon dioxide (CO2)
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Full water jet
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Heating or fire can release toxic vapours/gas. Formation of explosive dust/air mixtures possible.
In case of fire may be liberated: Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Hydrogen fluoride, Hydrogen chloride (HCl), Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Advice for firefighters:
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.
Danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure.
Additional information:
Heating causes rise in pressure with risk of bursting of the container. Use water spray jet to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. Do not allow entering drains or surface water.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Keep away from sources of ignition. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Avoid dust formation. Do not breathe dust. Wear personal protection equipment. Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Provide adequate ventilation. Keep away from unprotected persons.
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. If necessary, inform the competent authorities.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Avoid dust formation. Take up mechanically, placing in appropriate containers for disposal. Dispose of waste according to applicable legislation. Clean area thoroughly afterwards.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling:
The substance should be handled in closed apparatus or systems, if possible. Provide good ventilation in storage and work areas. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Avoid dust formation. Do not breathe dust. Wear personal protection equipment. Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Keep away from unprotected persons. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Usual measures for fire prevention.
Further information on handling:
Always close containers tightly after the removal of product. Never use pressure to empty container. Preferably store / store only in the original container. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels:
Preferably store / store only in the original container. Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Protect from sunlight. Protect from humidity. Keep away from sources of ignition. Store in a place accessible by authorized persons only. Always close containers tightly after the removal of product.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropriate engineering controls:
The substance should be handled in closed apparatus or systems, if possible. Provide adequate ventilation. If handled uncovered, arrangements with local exhaust ventilation should be used if possible. If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn.
Protective and hygiene measures:
Remove all sources of ignition. Avoid contact with the substance. Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Provide eye and emergency safety showers. Wash hands before breaks and after work. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Eye/face protection:
Wear eye/face protection.
Hand protection:
Wear suitable gloves. Replace when worn. The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function of the specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances.
For special purposes, it is recommended to check the resistance to chemicals of the protective gloves mentioned above together with the supplier of these gloves. See information supplied by the manufacturer.
Suitable material: Nitrile rubber
Use protective skin cream before handling the product.
Skin protection:
Wear suitable protective clothing. Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work.
Respiratory protection:
In case of dust formation or insufficient ventilation respiratory protection is required.
Use suitable breathing apparatus with at least a P3 filter. device
Environmental exposure controls:
Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability:
The substance is chemically stable under recommended conditions of storage, use and temperature.
Possibility of hazardous reactions:
Heating causes rise in pressure with risk of bursting of the container.
