- Details on results:
- pH of the samples varied in the range of 6.58-6.78.
Samples were analysed with the above HPLC method. The samples were not detectable, or were detectable but their areas were significantly lower than area of lowest calibration (LOQ, Limit of Quantification). Control water was measured as well in every case, no peak was detected in control samples. The mean value from (at least five) consecutive samples taken from the saturation (plateau) were calculated for each run. Because the measured concentration was less than the LOQ of the HPLC method after 5 days, the test was terminated. - Conclusions:
- The water solubility of test item is less than 0.2 μg/mL at 20°C ± 0.5°C using the column elution method.
- Executive summary:
The water solubility of test item CAS 113601 -85 -7 was determined in accordance to OECD test guideline 105, in compliance with GLP.
The water solubility of CAS 113601-85-7 was determined using the column elution method. It was found to be less than 0.2 μg/mL at 20°C ± 0.5°C after 5 days equilibration time. The test item is considered to be highly insoluble in water.

The measured concentration of the samples was below the quantification limit within the 1-day measurement and after the comparison of the 3-day results (in six consecutive measurements).
The measured pH of the samples also did not show significant difference from each other. The comparative pH of the water suggested that the test item cannot be dissolved in water.
In conclusion, the water solubility of CAS 113601-85-7 was determined to be below the quantification limit after 5 days equilibration time, considering to the dilution rates, the water solubility of test item is less than 0.2 μg/mL at 20°C ± 0.5°C using the column elution method. The test item is considered to be highly insoluble in water.
Description of key information
The water solubility of test item is less than 0.2 μg/mL at 20°C ± 0.5°C using the column elution method.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- at the temperature of:
- 20 °C
