Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

- Details on test solutions:
- PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF TEST SOLUTION (especially for difficult test substances)
- Method: The stock solution (SLI) was prepared by weighing of 111,0 mg test substance in 100 mL
acetone. The stock solution was stirred in acetone for approx. 1 h at 20 ± 2 0C. Ihe acetonic
stock solution (SL1) was present as olear solution.
This acetonic stock solution (SL1) was further diluted with acetone to receive stock solutions
for each test concentration (see scheme below). Ihe dilution factor was 3.
The required amount of the acetonic stock solution (10 ml *) was given into volumetric flasks
(1000 ml). After evaporating of the acetone at 200C ± 20C the volumetric flasks were filled to
1000 mL with OECD medium (1 fold concentrated). After stirring for 1 h undissolved particles
were observed in stock solutions SL2 - SL-5.

Test conditions
- Details on test conditions:
- - Dilution water chemistry: The test medium was prepared according to OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemnicals, No. 201 Algal growth inhibition test, June 1984.
- Test temperature: 21 - 25°C (max. temperature difference 2°C) c)
- Exposure vessels: Erlenmeyer flasks (nominal volume 250 ml) plugged with gas permeable siliconsponge caps
- Light conditions: Artificial light, permanent illumination, about 60 - 120 uE/(m2s) at a wave length of 400 - 700 nm
- Number of Replicates: 3
- Initial cell number: 10,000 cells/ml
- pH values: After 0 and 72 hours
- in vivo chlorophyll-a-fluorescence (pulsed excitation with light flashes having a wavelength of 435 nm) Measurement of fluorescence: after 0, 24, 48 and 72 h - Reference substance (positive control):
- not specified
