Individual results

The vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 70 °C to 120 °C. The measured vapour pressures at the corresponding temperatures are listed in Table 1. After the measurement the test item remained visually unchanged and the mass loss was < 0.1 %

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the test item was determined to be 4.6E-8 Pa (20 °C), 8.9E-8 Pa (25 °C) and 1.8E-6 Pa (50 °C).
Executive summary:

A study was performed according to OECD TG 104 and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, method A.4 in order to determine the vapour pressure of the test item by using the effusion method. The vapour pressure was measured by determining the boiling point of the test item at various specified pressures between about 10 and 1000 hPa. A constant temperature under constant pressure indicated that the boiling point was reached. Different vapour pressures were measured within the temperature range of 10 to 47 °C. The vapour pressures of the test item at 20, 25 and 50 °C were extrapolated by using the Antoine constants with following results: 4.6E-8 Pa (20 °C), 8.9E-8 Pa (25 °C) and 1.8E-6 Pa (50 °C).
