Administrative data
First-aid measures
- General advice: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes, and launder thoroughly before reusing.
- Following inhalation: Supply fresh air. Consult a doctor in case of complaints
- Following skin contact: Wash immediately with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
- Following eye contact: Rinse immediately opened eye for at least 15 minutes under running water. Consult a doctor.
- Following ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water and drink plenty of water.
- Most important symptoms and effects: no further data available
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions. CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides, Sulphur oxides may be produced when burning.
- Advice for fire fighter: Use protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device. Wear fully protective suit.
Additional information:
Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.
Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: Avoid formation of dust.
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective clothing.
- Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/surface or ground water. Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewer system.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mecanically the powder and send for recovery or disposal in suitable containers. Do not use a dry brush as dust clouds can be created. Don't wash the dirty area with water which could sweep along the substance and enter sewer systems or ground water. If the substance is released as liquid form, collect with an adsorbent material an send for recovery or disposal in suitable containers.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
Information about fire and explosion protection: no special measures required.
Keep away from sources of ignition - refrain from smoking. Dust can form an explosive mixture with air.
Take precautionary measures against static charges.
Handle under a basic standard of general ventilation (1 to 3 air changes per hour).
Wear chemically resistant gloves (tested to EN374).
In general the usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals
No further special precautions are necessary if used correctly.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed receptacles.
Information about storage in one common storage facility: Store away from incompatible materials. Keep away from foodstuffs.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures: Provide adequate exhaust ventilation to control work place concentrations.
2. Organisational protection measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Due to the colouring properties of the product, closed work clothes should be used, to avoid stains during manipulation. Gloves must be inspected regularly and prior to each use. Replace if necessary (e.g. pinhole leaks). Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Store work clothing separately.
3. Hand protection: Use protective gloves.
4. Feet protection: Use closed footwear.
5. Body protection: Use working clothes
6. Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields.
7. Respiratory protection: Wear respiratory protection if ventilation is inadequate.
Stability and reactivity
1. Reactivity: The product is chemically stable.
No hazardous reactions if stored and handled as prescribed/indicated
2. Chemical stability: The product is stable if stored and handled as prescribed/indicated.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions: No hazardous reactions when stored and handled according to instructions.
4. Conditions to avoid: Avoid extreme heat. Avoid freezing.
5. Incompatible materials: strong oxidizing agents, strong reducing agents, strong acids, strong bases.
6. Hazardous decomposition products: nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides, Sulphur oxides may be produced when burning.
Disposal considerations
Waste from residue/unused products: incinerate in suitable incineration plant, observing local authority regulations.
Contaminated packaging: contaminated packaging should be emptied as far as possible and disposed of in the same manner as the substance/product.
Clean packaging material should be subjected to waste management schemes (recovery recycling, reuse) according to local legislation.
