- Unsuitable extinguishing media:

Water in full jet

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

Deposited combustible dust contains a considerable potential for explosion.

Hazardous combustion products

Nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2)

- Advice for fire fighter:

Do not inhale explosion or combustion gases. Extinguishing measures to suit the environment. Extinguishing water not in

Channels and waters can be reached. Collect contaminated extinguishing water separately. Fire fighting with usual precautionary measures from a reasonable distance.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions:

Bring people to safety.

- Protective equipment and emergency procedures:

When exposed to vapors, dusts, aerosols and gases, wear a respiratory protective device.

- Environmental precautions:

Prevent entry into sewers or surface and ground water. Hold back and dispose of contaminated wash water.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Indications of how spills can be prevented from spreading

Cover the sewer system, pick up mechanically

Advice on how to clean in case of spillage

Take up mechanically.

Further information regarding spillage and release

Store in suitable containers for disposal. Ventilate the affected area.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

- Measures to prevent fires and aerosol and dust formation

Use of local and general ventilation. Take measures against electrostatic discharges. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Ground tank and equipment to be filled.

- Specific information / information

Dust deposits can accumulate on all deposition surfaces in an operating room. The product is not dust explosive in the form supplied; however, the accumulation of fine dust leads to the risk of dust explosion.

Advice on general hygiene at the workplace

Wash hands after use. Do not eat, drink or smoke in areas where you work. Take off contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering areas where food is eaten. Do not store food and drinks with chemicals. For chemicals, do not use containers that are usually intended for food intake. Keep away from food, drink and animal feed.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

Encounter of risks of the following kind

- Explosive atmospheres

Elimination of dust deposits.

- Ventilation requirements

Use of local and general ventilation.
