Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Seek medical attention. In all cases, remove contaminated
clothing and wash before reuse. Destroy contaminated shoes.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with running water for at least 30
minutes, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician
if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately, provide supportive care
. Advice to attending physician: Any decision to induce
vomiting should be made by the physician. If lavage is
performed, endotracheal and/or esophageal control should be
considered. Danger from lung aspiration must be weighted
against toxicity when considering emptying the stomach.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Recommended extinguishing agents: Water, dry chemical, foam
and carbon dioxide.
Product arising from burning: Products arising from pyrolysis: Combustion products may
contain carbon, nitrogen and sulphur oxides together with
some hydrogen chloride gas.
Protective equipment: Protective equipment: A positive pressure self-contained
breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear impervious protective clothing, gloves, boots, apron
or full-body suit, depending on the operation being
conducted, and eye goggles. Respiratory protection should
be used in misty atmospheres. Wash contaminated equipment
before use.
Storage: Do not store with oxidising agents.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: Other dangers: None reported.
Chemical reaction with water: Chemical reaction with water: None reported.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for reuse is not possible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Neutralisation with alkali liberates the free amine which
is expected to have similar toxicological properties and
may be less water soluble.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method of disposal. Use waste gas treatment to
remove nitrogen and sulphur oxides and hydrogen chloride
gas.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
