Results and discussion

Water solubility
Water solubility:
< 1 mg/L
Temp.:
19.9 °C
pH:
7.7
Details on results:
A preliminary test of the flask method was applied for the determination of the water solubility of Aquapel® 203.

All analysed concentrations of the test substance test samples after centrifugation and/or filtration were < 1 mg/l. According to this it was concluded that the water solubility of the test substance at 19.9°C ± 0.4°C was < 1 x 10^-3 g/l. The pH of an aqueous sample was 7.7.

No main study on the water solubility of the test substance was performed since it was found that it was not sufficiently possible to remove excess of the test substance from the water phase by centrifugation and/or filtration.
