The flammability of N,N'-[(methylimino)bis(trimethylene)] bis(oleamide) (solid) was determined according to the test method A.10."Flammability (solids)" as described in the Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.
In a preliminary screening test, the test item was formed into an unbroken particle train about 250 mm long. A hot flame from a gas burner with a diameter of about 6 mm was used to ignite the pile at one end.
In the preliminary screening test the test item was not ignited by a hot flame from a gas burner. The test item melted.
