Additional information

Based on read-across to sodium docusate, calcium docusate is expected to be readily biodegradable, hence it is biotically unstable. Hence it is irrelevant for the chemical safety assessment, whether the substance is abiotically stable or not, since - due to its ready biodegradability - contamination of surface waters does not need to be considered according to the requirements of EC regulation 1907/2006 (REACH).
