Between 25 °C and 450 °C no definite melting could be observed. In the same temperature range no definite boiling point was detectable.

Directly after starting of the heating procedure an endothermic effect was visible ending at approx. 55 °C.

Between approx. 100 °C and 280 °C and approx. 290 °C and 365 °C significant exothermic effects were observed.

After the heating process a brown residue remains in the crucible indicating decomposition of the test item.

A second measurement was performed to investigate the thermal behavior of the test item between 0 °C and 80 °C. The sample was weighed in a crucible made of aluminium with perforated lid, placed in a DTA/DSC-system and adjusted to 0 °C. The sample was then heated up to 80 °C (heating rate 5 K/min).

The endothermic effect was visible in a temperature range between approx. 20 °C and 55 °C but there is no steep signal and therefore no indication for a definite melting point
