Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006, Annex VIII, Column 2, hydrolysis (as a function of pH) testing need not be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable. The substance has been shown to be readily biodegradable. Therefore, hydrolysis testing is not indicated.

In a supporting study, the specific rate constant of alkaline hydrolysis for the substance at a temperature of 25.12oC was reported as 0.62 x 10-2 (1/mole-sec), or 0.0062 mol-1s-1.
