Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice:
Call a physician immediately.
If inhaled:
If breathing is difficult, remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a physician immediately.
In case of skin contact:
Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off withsoap and plenty of water. Call a physician immediately.
In case of eye contact:
In case of eye contact, remove contact lens and rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician immediately.
If swallowed:
Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media Carbon dioxide (CO2), Dry powder, Foam, Water spray Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons. Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, its combustion products, or released gases Carbon oxides, Sulphur oxides.
Advice for firefighters Special protective equipment for firefighting
Personal protection through wearing a tightly closed chemical protection suit and a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Additional information on firefighting
Remove all sources of ignition. Pay attention to flashback. Suppress (knock down) gases/vapours/mists with a water spray jet. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions
Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Wear as appropriate: Complete suit protecting against chemicals
Environmental precautions
Suppress (knock down) gases/vapours/mists with a water spray jet. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Contain spillage, and then collect with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and place in container for disposal according to local / national regulations
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling
Refill and handle product only in closed system. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion
Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Vapours may form explosive mixture with air.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage space and container requirements
Keep in an area equipped with acid resistant flooring. Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Avoid moisture. Keep away from direct sunlight.

General protective and hygiene measures
Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area. Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Wash hands and face before breaks and immediately after handling the product. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs. Use protective skin cream before handling the product.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid
Vapour/air-mixtures are explosive at intense warming. Extremes of temperature and direct sunlight. Exposure to moisture. Heat, flames and sparks.
Disposal considerations
Disposal considerations
Must be incinerated in a suitable incineration plant holding a permit delivered by the competent authorities.
Uncleaned empty packaging
Dispose of as unused product.
