Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
4.7
Temp.:
25 °C
Remarks on result:
other: pH not provided in the study report but not considered critical
Details on results:
The pH is assessed not to be critical based on the absence of acidic and base structural features of PSEUDO LINALYLACET BHT and in its molecular structure. The log Kows cannot be well assigned to the peaks of the key constituents. The log Kow of 4.4 is considered to be a good representative of Pseudo linalyl acetate.
Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of PSEUDO LINALYLACET BHT has resulted in 3 log Kows 3.5, 4.4 and 4.7 at 25°C in a study equivalent to OECD Guideline 117 (HPLC method) in a reliable non-GLP study. The highest log Kow will be taken forward because this log Kow is associated with Myricenyl acetate, being the constituent with the highest concentration in the substance.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of  PSEUDO LINALYLACET BHT has been determined as log P = 3.5-4.7 at 25°C in a study equivalent to OECD Guideline 117 (HPLC Method). The highest log Kow will be taken forward because this log Kow is associated with Myricenyl acetate 'mono', being the constituent with the highest concentration in the substance.

Description of key information

The partition coefficient of  PSEUDO LINALYLACET BHT has been determined as log P = 3.5 , 4.4 and 4.7 at 25°C in a study equivalent to OECD Guideline 117 (HPLC Method). These log Kow cannot be well assigned to key constituents, therefore the log Kow of 4.4 is considered a good representative for Pseudo linalyl acetate.
