Calibration
Seven concentration levels were tested: 0.001, 0.002, 0.005, 0.02, 0.05, 0.2 and 0.5 µg/mL. The calibration graph was calculated applying weighted linear regression using 1/concentration as weighting factor.

Results of the Column Elution Method
pH of the samples varied in the range of 7.06-7.19.
Samples were analysed with the above HPLC method. The samples were detectable, but their areas were significantly lower than area of lowest calibration. Control water was measured as well in every case, but peak was not detected in control samples

In conclusion, the water solubility of 6,6’-di-tert-butyl-2,2’-thiodi-p-cresol was determined to be below the quantification limit after 8 days equilibration time, considering to the dilution rate, the water solubility of test item is less than 8 µg/L at 20°C ± 0.5°C using the column elution method.
