Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Biodegradation:

The substance is considered readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria based on a WoE approach.

Hydrolysis:

Since the substance undergo a fast biodegradation if released into the enviromnent, abiotic degradation is not a relevant environmental pathway.

Henry´s law constant:

Evaporation of the substance from the water phase into the air is considered to be high as indicated by a calulated Henry´s Law constant value of 119.8 Pa m3/mol (formula in ECHA Guidance R.16) and a vapour pressure of 140 Pa.

Adsorption/desorption:

As the test substance is not readily biodegradable and no experimental studies investigating the adsorption/desorption potential of the test substance are available, the adsorption potential was calculated (KOCWIN v2.00). The mean values (Koc: 276.5 L/kg; log Koc: 2.33) of the calculation indicate a low potential to adsorb to organic sediment or soil particles.
