During the melting test of the studied cadmium sulphoselenide sample in nitrogen atmosphere, the endothermic peaks in the curve are at the temperature ranges 593 – 672 °C, 727 – 740 °C and 864 – 904 °C. The first peak indicates melting, because the mass of the sample does not change. The other peaks indicate decomposition and evaporation, because the mass of the sample starts to decrease.

 

In the oxidation test of the studied cadmium sulphoselenide sample using air atmosphere, the exothermic peaks in the curve are at the temperature ranges 555 – 664 °C, 691 – 727 °C and 792 – 817 °C. They indicate oxidation, the first peak may indicate sulphatizing, because the mass of the sample increases at the same time. The mass of the sample start to decrease at the temperature ~650 °C and it indicates decomposition and evaporation.The endothermic peak at the temperature range 932 – 959 °C may indicate melting, because the mass decreasing stops.
