Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Some endpoints were waived, based on the experience in handling and use of the substance and on the chemical structure of the known constituents or based on technical issues when standard methods were considered as more suitable for pure substances than for complex substances, specially when the information obtained from testing was not relevant or of practical use and irrelevant for subsequent assessments.

The substance is a yellow solid.

No hazard was identified with regard to physical properties (explosivity, oxidising properties, self-heating substance) based on Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP regulation) and GHS. The study of flash point is still on going.

Vapour pressure

(OECD 104/EU A4,

static method)

The vapour pressure of test item was determined to be 685 Pa at 20°C and 966 Pa at 25°C.

Log Kow

(waiving)

Waived based on technical issue and poor knownledge of the composition of the substance.

Water solubility

(waiving)

Waived considering the very complex nature of the test item or of practical use for subsequent assessments

Surface tension

(waiving, not intended to use)

The structures of the constituents of the substance are not characteristic of true surfactants and considering that it is not the intended use of the substance (i.e. not a desired property), this conclusion should be taken with caution.

Auto-ignition temperature

(Waiving, based on physical state)

Waiving based on physical state of test item

Flammability (UN N1)

Flash-point

(A9)

Contact with air/water

(Waiving)

Self-heating

(waiving)

Not a flammable solid.

study on going

No hazardous reaction anticipated if contact with air or water. Waiving, based on structure and experience.

Explosive properties

(waiving)

Waiving based on chemical structure of the constituents of the substance.

Registered substance is not to be classified as explosive material.

Oxidising properties

(waiving)

Waiving based on chemical structure of the constituents of the substance.

Registered substance is considered to have no oxidizing properties

Slight variations are possible with composition (UVCB substance).
