The substance is an orange powder at 20 °C and 1013 hPa, which begins to decompose when heated, before melting. The relative density of the substance is 1.32 at 20 °C and the granulometry is not determined as the substance is marketed or used in a non solid/granular form.

The substance is considered hydrophilic as the partition coefficient value (log POW) is -2.47 at 20 °C and pH ca. 4, and the water solubility is 132.35 g/l ± 12.24 g/l at 20 °C and pH ca. 4. No self-ignition occurs up to 400 °C and the substance is not classified for flammability, explosiveness or oxidising properties.
