Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
In case of inhalation : Move affected person to fresh air. Keep person warm and at rest. If not breathing, if
breathing is irregular or if respiratory arrest occurs, provide artificial respiration or
oxygen by trained personnel. Get medical advice/attention. If unconscious, place in
recovery position and get medical attention immediately.
In case of ingestion : Wash out mouth with water. Keep person warm and at rest. Get medical attention
immediately.
In case of skin contact : Flush contaminated skin with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and
shoes. Get medical attention immediately.
In case of eye contact : Get medical attention immediately. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water,
occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Check for and remove any contact
lenses. Continue to rinse for at least 10 minutes.
For first aiders :
Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see Section 8). No action shall
be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.
Notes to physician : Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
The suitable extinguishing media is dry chemical or CO2.
There is no known unsuitable extinguising media.
Promptly isolate the scene by removing all persons from the vicinity of the incident if
there is a fire. Move containers from fire area if this can be done without risk. Use
water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool.
Decomposition products may include the following materials:
carbon dioxide
carbon monoxide
nitrogen oxides
Fine dust clouds may form explosive mixtures with air. Runoff to sewer may create fire or explosion hazard.
Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positivepressure mode.
Accidental release measures
Protection of fire-fighters :
6.4 Reference to other
sections
See Section 1 for emergency contact information.
See Section 8 for information on appropriate personal protective equipment.
See Section 13 for additional waste treatment information.
Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering. Do not touch or walk
through spilt material. Shut off all ignition sources. Do not breathe dust. Provide
adequate ventilation. Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate.
Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see Section 8).
Handling and storage
Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Do not breathe dust. Use only with adequate ventilation.
Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate.
Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating
areas. Workers should wash hands and face before eating, drinking and smoking.
Storage : Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in original container protected from
direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible
materials and food and drink. Use appropriate containment to avoid
environmental contamination. Keep container tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures : when possible, use a contained system to load and unload the substance.
2. Organisational protection measures : information of workers (masterbatch recors, safety data sheet), controlled collective equipments and exhaust ventilation.
3. personal protection
Put on appropriate personal protective equipment :
- dust mask P3
- suitable gloves. If used in a solvent, chose gloves appropriated to solvent.
- goggles
- clothes dedicated to handling of chemical products. Suitable protective footwear.
Stability and reactivity
The substance is stable under normal conditions of storage (ambient temperature and moderat humidity)
Disposal considerations
industrial specific waste.
