Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

- Conclusions:
- The average solubility of LR10271 Voluform is 1.5mg/L in reverse osmosis-purified water (aqueous
solution pH around 6.5) at 25°C.
Deviation between different flasks is probably due to the lack of homogeneity of solutions. - Executive summary:
The average solubility of LR10271 Voluform is 1.5mg/L in reverse osmosis-purified water (aqueous
solution pH around 6.5) at 25°C.
Deviation between different flasks is probably due to the lack of homogeneity of solutions.
Reference
Deviation of solubility over time can be due to the lack of homogeneity of solutions. Statistical
analysis of the results is done to confirm this hypothesis.
The repeatability and the “reproducibility” of this method are determined in order to estimate the
contribution of analytical method deviation in global result deviation.
Repeatability is the degree of agreement of measurements on replicate specimens.
And reproducibility is, in this study, the degree of agreement of measurements on different samples
by the same operator.
Average solubility | repeatability standard deviation | reproductibility standard deviation | |
Flask: presaturation 24h | 1.1 | 6.4% | 19.4% |
Flask: presaturation 48h | 2.4 | 1% | 11% |
Flask: presaturation 72h | 0.9 | 6.6% | 16.9% |
The high reproducibility standard deviations show that saturated solutions are not homogeneous
while repeatability of the analytical method is good.
