TPnB highers is hydrolytically stable in water since the test material does not have functional groups susceptible to hydrolysis. The test material is readily biodegradable based on a read-across approach for compounds with a similar structure which bracket the molecular weight range of the test material. Any test material released to the atmophere will be rapidly degraded by reaction with hydroxyl radicals, with estimated half-lives of 0.1 to 0.2 days.
