Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No data on the target substance was available, thus a read-across approach with a Similar Substance was used. The 2 substances are structural analogues. Details on the read across are reported in section 13.

Acute immobilization test with Daphnia magna carried out according to OECD guideline 202 (2004). Test substance was tested as saturated solution, prepared at nominal concentration of 5.00 mg/l.

The limit test was conducted under static conditions over a period of 48 hours. The saturated solution was colourless and visually clear during the exposure period. Twenty daphnids, divided into 4 replicates with 5 daphnids each, were exposed to the saturated solution and the control.

The measured concentration in the saturated solution was < LOD at the start of the exposure (0 hours). Therefore, test item concentration was considered to be below the LOD in the old media, too.

According to OECD guidance document no. 23 (2000), if an effect cannot be detected in a test with a saturated solution, the result has to be reported as no toxic effects at saturation.
