Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Reference substance name:
-
EC Number:
473-100-9
EC Name:
-
Test material form:
solid: particulate/powder
Details on test material:
- Description: dark purple powder
- Solubility in the water: <= 0.412 g/L
- Melting point: > 250 °C
- Boiling point: > 250 °C
- Explosion: not explosion
- Log Pow: >= 3.3
- Test substance storage: at room temperature in the dark, 20°C, dry store
- Stability under storage conditions: stable
Specific details on test material used for the study:
The test substance was applied to the surface of a roughened glass plate as a homogeneous layer. The plate was wetted uniformly by a solution of the substance in chloroform and dried in an inert atmosphere. For the measurement, the coated plate was hung into the thermogravimetric analyzer. The following method was used:

The test substance was considered to show ideal behaviour. Therefore the evaporation rate curve at elevated temperatures and the vapour pressure curve were derived by using a least squares method to calculate a straight Iine that best fits the measured data (Clapeyron).

The vTt value, determined by extrapolation from the evaporation rate curve, was fitted in the vapour pressure curve to obtain the PT,20 value.

The test temperatures are expressed in degrees Kelvin (K). Temperature in °C = Temperature in Kelvin -273.15.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of SXju12006 at 20°C by isothermal thermogravimetry was determined to be lower than 1.47E-8 Pa or 1.10E-10 mm Hg.
