Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure, measured in an OECD TG 104 test (vapour pressure curve), was equal to 26 hPa at 25ºC (REACh Registration dossier on ECHA website).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
26 hPa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The key value for (+)-Citronellal  (EC 219-194-5; CAS 2385-77-5) was obtained from the disseminated REACH registration dossier available on the ECHA website, or other sources or by QSAR prediction. (+)-Citronellal is the lead constituent for the environmental risk assessment of this UVCB substance. The Lead Constituent (component) approach follows the LCID methodology (CEFIC/VCI, 2016) but modified: based on the PNECs of all constituents instead of only the ones classified under CLP regulation or meeting the PBT/vPvB criteria according to annex XIII of REACh.

Hence, a separate endpoint summary containing the key value of (+)-Citronellal for this endpoint is included in this dossier for use in the environmental risk assessment.
