Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The water solubility of the test item was determined by the column method according to the European Commission Regulations (EC) No. 440/2008 and No. 260/2014, A.6. Water solubility; flask method and according to the OECD test guideline, OECD 105 Water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The water solubility cSof the test item was determined at a temperature of 20 °C according to OECD 105.

Due to its insolubility in aqueous and organic solvents, it is not possible to analytically quantify Vat Green 1. Hence, the total organic carbon content (TOC) was measured. The test item content of 97.0 % (w/w) and the organic carbon content of 83.7 % for the pure main constituent were used to calculate the water solubility of the test item (main component): < 1.3 mg/L.
