First-aid measures

After inhalation:

If inhaled, remove to fresh air. In case of breathing, give artificial respiration. Seek medical advice.

After skin contact:

Wash with soap and plenty of water. Seek medical advice.

After eye contact:

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.

After swallowing:

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Limitation and monitoring of exposure:

Suitable technical control devices:

Observe the usual precautions when handling chemicals. Wash hands before breaks and at the workplace.

Personal protective equipment:

Eye / face protection:

Safety glasses with side protection according to EN 166. Use only equipment which has been tested and approved according to official standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166 (EU) for eye protection.

Skin protection:

Work with gloves. Gloves must be examined before use. Use a suitable pull-out method (without touching the outer glove surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with legal regulations and good laboratory practice. Washing and drying hands. The protective gloves to be used must comply with the specifications of EC Directive 89/686 / EEC and the resultant standard EN 374.

Body protection:

Impermeable protective clothing, the type of protective equipment must be according to the concentration and amount of the hazardous substance in the workplace to be chosen.

Respiratory protection:

Use a dust mask type P95 (US) or type P1 (EU EN 143) to prevent harmful environmental influences. For higher protection levels, use dust mask filters type OV / AG / P99 (US) or TYPE ABEK-P2 (EU EN 143). Respiratory protection devices and components must be tested and approved according to the relevant national standards such as NIOHS (US) or CEN (EU).

Product:

Residues and non-recyclable solutions should be handed over to a recognized disposal company. These products must be dissolved or mixed with a combustible solvent and incinerated in an incinerator for chemicals (with an afterburner and an extractor).
