First-aid measures

Inhalation : If inhaled, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

Consult a physician for severe cases.

Skin contact : Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes.

If skin irritation persists, call a physician.

Eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

Consult an ophtalmologist.

Ingestion : After swallowing: only when the patient is fully conscious: rinse mouth with water.

Do not induce vomiting.

Obtain medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media : Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture : During a fire, smoke may contain the original material in addition to unidentified toxic and/or irritating compounds.

Advice for firefighters :

- Special protective equipment for firefighters. In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective suit.

- Specific methods : Standard procedure for chemical fires.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Eye protection :

Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166.

Hand protection :

The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.

Gloves should be selected according to the application and the duration of use at the work station.

Skin and body protection :

Protective suit.

Respiratory protection :

In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment.

Respirator with combination filter for vapour/particulate (EN 141).

Environmental exposure : Prevent product from entering surface water or sewage.
