Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) was determined in a 96-hour static test with the surrogate test substance phenylethyl propionate. The nominal concentrations tested were five concentrations selected on the basis of preliminary test, a solvent control group and a control. No concentrations were measured. The 96 h-LC50 of the read across substance phenylethyl propionate was determined to be nominal in a range between 10 and 13 mg/L.

In addition to that a supporting study with the surrogate test substance was performed on Bluegill sunfish (Lepomis macrochirus) over 96 hours. The 96-LC50 was also determined to be nominal ca. 12 mg/L. No analytical monitoring was done.
