pH-Value was checked at the end of test. It was determined to be 4.9 (mean value of two measurements).
All samples were checked negative for a Tyndall effect verifying the absence of colloidal dispersed matter.
The test samples showed a change of the component pattern with higher proportion for component 1 (lowest retention time) compared to the standard samples.
Validity Criteria
The study was performed based on OECD Guideline 105 for Testing of Chemicals (1995) and Council Regulation (EC) No. 260/2014, Method A.6. The validity criteria were fulfilled:
- The concentration measured did not differ by more than 15 %.
- The slope of the concentration vs. time regression graph was statistically not significantly different from zero (minimum of five samplings).
- Temperatures were kept constant within ± 0.5 °C.
- The concentration measured for each replicate sampling did not differ by more than 30% (minimum of five samplings).
Conclusions
The solubility of the test item was determined to be 1.32 g/L (pH 4.9) at 20 ± 0.5 °C.
Description of key information
Water solubility: 1.32 g/L at 20 °C, pH = 4.9 (EU Method A.6., slow stirring flask method)
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Water solubility:
- 1.32 g/L
- at the temperature of:
- 20 °C
Additional information
A water solubility value of 1.32 g/L (at 20 °C, pH 4.9) was determined for the test substance according to E.U. Method A.6.
