Test substance is a brown powder, solid at 20 °C. No melting or boiling point could be identified up to 350 °C. The average relative density at 20 °C was found to be 4.4942 g/cm³. The median particle size was 74.820 µm. The partition co-efficient n-octanol/water at 20 °C was determined to be Pow = 0.0062 and Log Pow = -2.20. The water solubility of substance at 20 °C was determined to 9.6 g/l (without correction for the purity). The surface tension of FAT 40066 was determined to be 67.521 mN/m at 20 °C. Test substance showed no auto-ignition until 550 °C and the substance is considered not to be highly flammable and does not ignite spontaneously when in contact with water or humid air. It is considered as not highly flammable. The analysis of the chemical structure reveals no alerts for explosive properties and is considered to be non-explosive. The test substnce has no oxidising properties.
