Description of key information

The inherent biodegradability of FAT 40854/A TE was investigated in a 'Zahn-Wellens / EMPA Test' according to EU method C.9, OECD 302B, ISO 9888 and GLP. 
A maximum of 12% biodegradation of FAT 40854/A TE was observed within the study duration of 28 days. Thus, FAT 40854/A TE was not inherently biodegradable under the conditions of the 'Zahn-Wellens / EMPA Test' presently performed.
