Administrative data
First-aid measures
4.1 General information:
Remove contaminated clothing.
4.2 After inhalation
If unconscious place in stable sideways position.
4.3 After contact with the skin
Seek medical advice and clearly identify substance. Wash immediately with plenty of water.
4.4 After contact with the eyes
Seek medical advice and clearly identify substance. Keep eyelids well open to rinse the whole
eye surface and eyelids with water.
4.5 After swallowing
If conscious, give several small portions of water to drink. Ensure adequate supply of fresh
air.
Fire-fighting measures
5.1 Suitable extinguishing media
Use extinguishing measures appropriate to the source of fire. Fight extensive conflagration
with water spray or alcohol-resistant foam.
5.2 Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons
-
5.3 Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products,
resulting gases
Hazardous combustion products: chlorine , hydrogen chloride .
5.4 Special protective equipment for fire fighting
Wear full protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
6.1 Personal precautions
Keep unprotected persons away. Wear personal protection equipment (see section 8).
6.2 Environmental precautions
No special measures required.
6.3 Methods for cleaning up
Take up mechanically and dispose of according to local/state/federal regulations. Use
neutralising agent. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Handling and storage
7.1 Handling
Precautions for safe handling:
Store in well-sealed containers in a cool and dry area. Ensure adequate ventilation. Reseal
opened containers carefully. Avoid dust formation.
Precautions against fire and explosion:
No special precautions against fire and explosion required.
7.2 Storage
Conditions for storage rooms and vessels:
Store in a cool place.
Advice for storage of incompatible materials:
not applicable
Further information for storage:
Protect against moisture. Store in a dry and cool place.

Disposal considerations
13.1 Material
Recommendation:
Observe local/state/federal regulations.
13.2 Uncleaned packaging
Recommendation:
Completely discharge containers (no tear drops, no powder rest, scraped carefully). Containers
may be recycled or re-used. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
13.3 Waste Disposal Legislation Ref.No.(EC)
It is not possible to determine a waste code for this product in accordance with the European
Waste Catalogue (EWC) since it is only possible to classify it according to how it is used by
the customer. The waste code is to be determined within the EU in liaison with the wastedisposal
operator.
