Additional information

The selected and recalculated acute endpoint values for EDTA-CuK2 were 601, 118.2 and 678 mg/L for fish, daphnids and algae

respectively. Chronic endpoints were >= 40.3, 23.0 and 38.3 mg/L for fish, daphnids and algae respectively.

Both from acute as well as chronic data, daphnids show to be the most sensitive species. Meaningful results with algae tests were obtained by studies avoiding limitation of essential nutrients.

For microorganisms, from an active sludge respiration test it was concluded that the highest dose tested did not cause significant effects, a NOEC was detemined >= 707 mg/L EDTA-CuK2.
