Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No melting point can be determined, but a melting range: 133.2 to 140.1 °C (406.4 to 413.3 K).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No melting point could be determined for the test item but a melting range.

It was noticed that the colour of the test substance changed from white to slightly yellow while heating up the test item. In addition to that a change in consistence took place from a powdery form to a glass-like substance. Because of these changes in colour an consistence it is believed that the test item reacted within the experiment (e.g. with ambient oxygen).

No observations were made which might cause doubts on the validity of the study outcome.

The determination was performed in duplicate. In both determinations, a melting range was detected.

The melting range was determined to be133.2 to 140.1 °C (406.4 to 413.3 K).

This value is the mean of two independent determinations. The result of the study is considered valid.
