Description of key information

FAT 45082 is considered to be non-biodegradable.

Additional information

Data from a key study performed according to a guideline which is equivalent or similar to OECD 303 A, showed 3 % bio-elimination at the end of 31 day exposure period. Bio-elimination is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the individual values after the setup time. The data indicates the test substance as not readily biodegradable. Further, the BOD5/COD quotient calculated using data from two individual studies (BOD: 0 mg/g O2;COD: 1019.61 mg O2/g) is equal to 0, indicating the test substance is non-biodegradable. Taking the data from key study and supporting studies into account, the test substance FAT 45082 is considered to be non-biodegradable.
