Additional information

The toxicity test (key_Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria_2015_RL1) of aquatic algae performed according to OECD 201 and GLP was rated with RL=1 (reliable without restrictions) and used as key study.

In this study no inhibition on the growth of the freshwater green alga Pseudokirchnerella subcapitata was found after 72 hours exposure to the test item in a limit concentration of 100 mg/L. The EC10- and EC50-values for inhibition of growth rate and yield after 72 hours were > 67 mg/L, respectively. The NOEC for inhibition of growth rate and yield after 72 hours were ≥ 67 mg/L. All results based on mean measured test item concentrations.
