Description of key information

DME is capable of producing sensitization of the mammalian heart to epinephrine. 5 min-NOAECdogs = 10% v/v (188426 mg/m3), 5 -min LOAECdogs = 20% v/v (188426 mg/m3).

Additional information

Epinephrine challenged dogs were evaluated in a cardiac sensitisation assay. The NOAEC was 100000 ppm (188426 mg/m3) and the LOAEC was 200000 ppm (376851 mg/m3).

The test substance did not produce adverse effects that would require classification according the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
