Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A semi-static GLP guideline study according to OECD 211 has been conducted using Daphnia magna (NOTOX B.V. 2006). Due to the low solubility of the test substance in the test medium, a water accommodated fraction (WAF) has been prepared and a limit test has been conducted. Therefore, 100 mg/l test substance was stirred for 1 day to reach maximum solubility. Subsequently, the mixtures were left to stabilize for 1 day where after the WAFs were siphoned through glass wool to apply for the final test concentration at each renewal. The final test solutions were clear and slightly red. Since from day 13 onwards test substance particles were observed in the test solutions, indicating that the daphnids were exposed to a concentration exceeding the water solubility limit.

After 21 d no effects were observed concerning survival, groth or reproduction. Therefore, no chronic effects occurred within the range of solubility.
