Additional information

In a guideline (OECD 202) and GLP study, LISEC (1999) reported a 48 -hr EC50 value of 7.3 mg/L (95% C.I. of 6-11.2 mg.L) for ENB in Daphnia magna. In a guideline (OECD 202) and GLP study, the Environment Agency of Japan (1999) reported a 48 -hr EC50 value of 3.34 mg/L (95% confidence limits:2.78-5.00 mg/L) for ENB in Daphnia magna, and a 48 -hr NOEC of 1.54 mg/L. The key parameter is drawn from the study for which the original report is available. This is not critical in determining the long term PNECs.
