Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

The key sensitisation study was chosen from two available as the most reliable study. The other study, that had significant deficiencies and as a result was judged to be reliability 2, gave no clear evidence of sensitisation in tests using 65% CHPTAC.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
The key skin sensitisation study, a reliable adjuvant study conducted according to OECD 406, found that the test material (as supplied, 69% CHPTAC) gave no evidence of sensitisation potential during a subsequent challenge with a 30% solution of the test material in saline.

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Additional information:
Migrated from Short description of key information:
No data identified.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available data do not support the classification for skin sensitisation. No data were identified for respiratory sensitisation.
