The partition coefficient (Log Pow) of prednisolone is 1.6 at 25 °C and at pH of 7.4. The partition coefficient was determined in a way equivalent or similar to OECD test guideline 107 (Lombardo, F. 2000 (a)).
In the same study the Log Pow of 1.83 was obtained from HPLC method. The partition coefficient was determined in a way equivalent or similar to OECD test guideline 117 (Lombardo, F. 2000 (b)).
In an additional study a value of Log Pow of 1.62 was reported. (Exploring QSAR: Volume 1).
