Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure. Obtained medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush affected area thoroughly with water. Obtain medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contamined clothing. Wash affected area thoroughly
with water. Obtain medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Foam, CO2 and water.
Product arising from burning: NOx, COx.
Product determined by test: N
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: If any spillage occurs, operators are trained to
promptlyremove waste wearing approved mask and protective
garments. They sweep up spillage avoiding dust and wash
spill site according to internal cleaning procedures. The
spillages are collected, placed in appropriate containers
and disposed of by incineration.
Handling and storage
Handling: Wear preventive protective clothing to avoid contact with
eyes, skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wear
fresh clothing daily. Wash contamined clothing before
re-use.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in tightly sealed containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is packaged in UN approved fibre drums.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: None
Chemical reaction with water: None
Dust explosion: The materials exhibits characteristics if ignited as a dust
cloud. It is susceptible to accumulating static charges
during processing and uncontrolled static discharge may
result in igniting a dust cloud under certain conditions due
the minimum ignition energy. Suitable bonding and grounding
for containers and process equipment such as dust
collectors, dryers, and mills may require additional
protective measures (eg. explosion venting). Material begins
to exhibit exothermic activity at a temperature of 210 °C.
Maximum process temperatures are maintained at least 20°C
below this onset temperature.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: None known.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended
